These minor imperfections do not detract from the overall great appearance of the plates! Size: 8 1/2 in. It is a good idea to check the lead content, etc. Of all dishes especially vintage ones! Many dishes even newer ones and pottery have unacceptable lead content and and are not safe especially for children and pregnant women! Painted dishes are more prone to have lead.
