They are brown wood texture, embossed with bear paw print on each piece. It is dishwaher safe This dish ware is in good condition with minimal wear on the surface of the dinner plates. Each piece is crack and chip free. These dishes were discontinued 2012.. Each plate is embossed in the middle with a life like imprint of a bear paw, edge has a native american design.
