Hang from rail, bed post, mailbox post, fireplace mantel end or whatever ledge fits with long screws (included). WHITE SPOTS AND STREAKS ARE REFLECTIONS AND GLARE FROM THE LIGHTING. Measures 24 inches long by 6 1/2 inches wide and 7 inches deep. Weighs 6 pounds 9 ounces. Screws are 2 1/4 inches apart (flat area under paws is 8 1/4 inches high by up to 5 7/8ths inches wide).
