An original from Big Sky Carvers made from Western Pine by Jeff Fleming. Beau graced a post in our living room for years. When we moved to Florida, there wasn’t a perfect spot for him, so he went into hibernation in the attic. When he woke one day, he tumbled down the attic stairs and damaged his ear. Luckily there was a bear surgeon in our are and he was fixed right up. IF you look closely, you can find his scar. His companion, Bonnie, will be listed for sale separately.

Bonnie is an original bear from Big Sky Carvers, made from Western Pine. She has watched over our living area from a high perch for many years. For several of those years, she gazed into the eyes of her companion, Beau, offered in a separate listing here. She’s managed to avoid any scratches or scrapes because she was well out of the way of our cats, dogs, critters and grandkids. She is in excellent condition. She managed her weight admirably over the year and weighs in at 5.5 lbs.

Few thinning spots throughout the coat consistent with age wear, not too noticeable, please view the pictures! Paws seems to be made of real leather and stitched with black tread. He is about 26 inches tall, quite large! All joints are movable and strongly attached. There is some mechanical design in Bear’s head, undetermined rather it is a holding mechanism or mechanical working accessorie. They are made to look like carved wood and are handcrafted heavy resin. Each bear is approximately 4½” high and 2″ wide. Each bear holds a tree slice “wooden” plaque with the letter spelling out the word N-O-E-L. The plaque hangs from their neck by a green Christmas garland. They have warm brown eyes and super friendly faces. These are just really adorable. Each has a particular pose and personality of their own.
