Extremely extremely rare one of the first ones, Jeff Fleming ever made back in Manhattan, Montana, USA. This particular one has the extremely rare snout with the head with a tiny little black snout so different to the other ones that you see that were later made. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think this is very early and very very rare. Incredibly, it still has the original tag and the original eyes. This is all original we have not cleaned or touched up. This was found at the estate sale up in the mountains near Lake Tahoe. Yes, yes it’s weathered and has some cracks as you can see, but this is all original and super super rare. We think the stand has been added as it has the newest screws, but we do not want to take off or will sell it as it is with the stand complete size with the stand. It’s just a little over 20 inches. He is just so adorable. We can’t make out if the eyes are plastic or glass, but they are definitely original to the piece. He is quite heavy, and his face is absolutely adorable cutest face in town. Here’s approximately just over 20 inches tall and the largest widest point from his hands to his back is approximately 8 inches so he’s quite a showstopper. What’s absolutely wonderful is he is very very old and early. You just don’t find these old wooden ones anymore. Thank you so much for looking. Enjoy this beautiful beautiful, rare peace. Rustic Big Sky Carvers Jeff Fleming Bearfoots pine wood carved “Arnold” golfer black bear sculpture. The golf club broke at one point. It was glued together (a faint thin line can be seen toward the bottom of the silver color up close) and was glued inside the paws so that it wouldn’t break again by falling out. There is a line running down from the top to bottom of one side. It is a natural characteristic of the wood, not damage, along with a short one near it at the back. The ears also have some imperfections/characteristics of the wood that are also just natural features, not damage. It measures 20 high.
This sale is for a pre-owned Big Sky Carvers Jeff Fleming Bearfoots’Jeffrey’ Bear Pine Wood Carved Tagged 15.5 Tall. This sculpture is in good used condition and as such shows some minor signs of wear commensurate with age and use (see pictures). Bonnie is an original bear from Big Sky Carvers, made from Western Pine. She has watched over our living area from a high perch for many years. For several of those years, she gazed into the eyes of her companion, Beau, offered in a separate listing here. She’s managed to avoid any scratches or scrapes because she was well out of the way of our cats, dogs, critters and grandkids. She is in excellent condition. She managed her weight admirably over the year and weighs in at 5.5 lbs.
