Bonnie is an original bear from Big Sky Carvers, made from Western Pine. She has watched over our living area from a high perch for many years. For several of those years, she gazed into the eyes of her companion, Beau, offered in a separate listing here. She’s managed to avoid any scratches or scrapes because she was well out of the way of our cats, dogs, critters and grandkids. She is in excellent condition. She managed her weight admirably over the year and weighs in at 5.5 lbs.

Extremely extremely rare one of the first ones, Jeff Fleming ever made back in Manhattan, Montana, USA. This particular one has the extremely rare snout with the head with a tiny little black snout so different to the other ones that you see that were later made. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think this is very early and very very rare. Incredibly, it still has the original tag and the original eyes. This is all original we have not cleaned or touched up. This was found at the estate sale up in the mountains near Lake Tahoe. Yes, yes it’s weathered and has some cracks as you can see, but this is all original and super super rare. We think the stand has been added as it has the newest screws, but we do not want to take off or will sell it as it is with the stand complete size with the stand. It’s just a little over 20 inches. He is just so adorable. We can’t make out if the eyes are plastic or glass, but they are definitely original to the piece. He is quite heavy, and his face is absolutely adorable cutest face in town. Here’s approximately just over 20 inches tall and the largest widest point from his hands to his back is approximately 8 inches so he’s quite a showstopper. 23 wooden bear has scuffs, scratches, imperfections in paint. Left ear was cracked in several places and repaired with JB weld and paint. Ear still has a crack and an uneven surface.

Rare Big Sky Bears Jeff Fleming “JOHN” Bear WOOD Toilet Paper Holder. BIG SKY CARVERS This item is in great condition. Solid wood, not resin, with no cracks. It measures approximately 32 tall; 7 3/4 wide; and 5 1/4 deep. Ledge on bottom makes for convenient wall placement. This is a rare and retired piece. Please see all pictures.

Big Sky Carvers Wooden Bear Solid Pine 24Jeff Fleming Bearfoots Hand Carved figure. Unfinished bear, has some flaws like crack in the wood and ear was cut short, eyes are included but hadn’t been cut yet so holes would have to be made if you wanted to insert them. Bear is natural wood, has not been stained/painted. Still a nice piece. Has a cut out where you could add your own custom made sign for the bear to hold. Please see photos for details.
