Big Sky Bear

This is a vintage wooden table lamp from Big Sky Carvers (the lamp includes the brass plate to show authenticity). I believe it dates from the 80s or 90s but has been kept in good shape in a non-pet, non-smoking home. The shade has been replaced with one similar to the original one and is in excellent condition as well. The height to the top of the shade is approximately 28. Just an adorable and hard to find, carved wood black bear Jeff Fleming? By Big Sky Carvers. Meant to hang, either on a deck railing, window sill, etc let your imagination go wild! Its a large sized piece, 23 inches long by 7 inches wide by 7 inches deep, has predrilled holes on his paws, ready to go. I do not believe this piece has actually been hung, there are no wood burrs to indicate otherwise. I bought it from someone who said they didnt use it, and I know I havent used it. I wish I could but my deck gets a tremendous amount of sun and I really would rather it be well taken care of. So, its a hand made piece, as such there are small imperfections. Also, I dont know where the white rub came from, its not that noticeable but again, its there. There is also a small piece of wood out near the back ear, it looks like it came out from where the knot in the wood is located. I cannot confirm if the extra paint around happened at manufacture or after. I know I didnt do it! Its a spectacular piece, Im nit-picking to make sure the next owner is just as happy as I was to have it, even if I couldnt get it mounted.
