My fascination is one part anthropomorphic story – “Yogi” bears pursuing the slippery fish – and two parts biology and ecology – fish being such a critical part of some bear species and populations diet. Whatever the reason, history at Big Sky Carvers tells us that when we portray bears and fish together, whether whimsical or serious, folks love the imagery.
