It appears to be numbered A405 but there is no indication of the edition size. I bought this item from an online retailer in 2009. It comes with the box and packing materials as shown in the pictures. This item comes from a smoke-free, child-free home. It has been removed from the box and displayed on a rotating basis with other collectibles. When not displayed, it has been stored in a climate-controlled, sun-free environment. Prior to it being displayed, I have cleaned it with a soft brush to remove any dust and I’ve done the same before taking pictures for this listing. You may wish to do additional cleaning once you receive the item. The box is in very good condition but will show signs of being opened and handled, such as slight rips/tears and/or slight corner dings. There is a slight chip in the finish on the back of the sculpture please see the 7. I will add that charge to the invoice; please pay from that invoice. The damaged item must be available for inspection locally by the shipper (the shipper may require that it take possession of the damaged item). THANK YOU FOR LOOKING. On most days, I should be able to respond within 4 hours or the following morning. Thank you for your interest in this item; please check out my other current and future listings.

This is Yona, a bear sculpture by Marc Pierce, founder of Big Sky Carvers. It was designed in Montana and made for Big Sky in China. It’s in perfect condition, full of exquisite details such as the tiny claws and hair on the body. The sculpture is made from a mixture of bronze, pewter and resin. The base bears the artist’s signature and the bear’s footprint! On the bottom is again the signature of Marc Pierce, the name “Yona”, and number “A715″. The year the piece was created was 2009, also found on the bottom. The piece is 7″ tall, 6″ wide, and base is 6.75 diameter. Gorgeous piece for anyone who love animals, bears and nature.
For sale is a 2006 Marc Pierce Home Schooled Big Sky Carvers sculpture. It features what appears to be a mama bear and her two cubs fishing for salmon. It really is quite striking! It stands about 11″ tall by about 13″ long, by about 6.5 wide. The sculpture was repaired at one point. The elevated portion of the log with the larger bear broke off and was reattached (See pictures #2-3). It’s difficult to notice this from a distance but you can tell if looking closely. I think the sculpture still displays quite well! Please examine the pictures for the best idea of condition and feel free to ask any questions you may have!
