Just an adorable and hard to find, carved wood black bear Jeff Fleming? By Big Sky Carvers. Meant to hang, either on a deck railing, window sill, etc let your imagination go wild! Its a large sized piece, 23 inches long by 7 inches wide by 7 inches deep, has predrilled holes on his paws, ready to go. I do not believe this piece has actually been hung, there are no wood burrs to indicate otherwise. I bought it from someone who said they didnt use it, and I know I havent used it. I wish I could but my deck gets a tremendous amount of sun and I really would rather it be well taken care of. So, its a hand made piece, as such there are small imperfections. Also, I dont know where the white rub came from, its not that noticeable but again, its there. There is also a small piece of wood out near the back ear, it looks like it came out from where the knot in the wood is located. I cannot confirm if the extra paint around happened at manufacture or after. I know I didnt do it! Its a spectacular piece, Im nit-picking to make sure the next owner is just as happy as I was to have it, even if I couldnt get it mounted. You will recieve JOSH, the wooden (BIG SKY BEARS) Jeff Fleming bear shown. I acquired this wooden bear at an estate sale, I kind of wish he could talk. He is about 8 1/2″ overall height and about 4 1/2″ wide. If I were going to keep him I would just touch them up with some dark stain, sharpie, shoe polish or something like that. His paper tag/label is in decent condition, but the ribbon could stand to be replaced. As you can see he is designed to sit on the edge of a shelf or something. There is a screw hole in the bottom, possibly there was a base that is missing? At any rate JOSH needs a home. He has some character and you know you need him (he is a low maintenence bear).
