Downsizing my Bearfoots collection from my cabin home. In the coming weeks/months, check out my auctions for more solid wood Jeff Fleming carved bears as well as some older figurine pieces. Listing some of my last wood bears this week… Only three more to go after these six… Although not sure I will be parting with the last three. As you can see from the pics, there is the metal “mini plaque” indicating it is the genuine article. This guy is adorable and is in good, displayed indoors condition, but it is not brand new therefore has signs of age/imperfections… Tried to capture enough close ups to show any “issues”. Big Sky Carvers Jeff Fleming Wood Carved Bear Lil Eric 17. Item has several condition issues, as pictured with the cracked feet and other minor issues. I did try to wipe it down, but there was a rough spot on the right side where it got the paper towel stuck in the wood, so I left it alone after a quick dry brushing with a towel. I believe it was previously sat outside in the elements, as my parents owned it and it was on their farm. I found this the other day among my mother’s things. She passed away a few years ago, so I’m cleaning out her things that I haven’t anymore room for. This bear has a story and I’d like to keep it, but I’ll be moving out of state soon and can’t keep something so large. The story behind the bear is that my aunts bought it for her after she’d claimed on a road trip that she saw a bear and no one else saw it. Thus, they joked with her saying she was seeing things and that giving her this bear meant now she actually saw one. Big Sky Carvers Jeff Fleming Pair Of Wood Carved Bears Lil Eric And Angie. This is a pair of Jeff Flemings popular big sky carvers. They are freshly oiled and really nice. Lil Eric has small crack behind left arm. Shown in photo but barely noticeable. Otherwise indoor kept and clean. Retail is almost 300 for the pair. Starting at a third of retail.
