This is Yona, a bear sculpture by Marc Pierce, founder of Big Sky Carvers. It was designed in Montana and made for Big Sky in China. It’s in perfect condition, full of exquisite details such as the tiny claws and hair on the body. The sculpture is made from a mixture of bronze, pewter and resin. The base bears the artist’s signature and the bear’s footprint! On the bottom is again the signature of Marc Pierce, the name “Yona”, and number “A715″. The year the piece was created was 2009, also found on the bottom. The piece is 7″ tall, 6″ wide, and base is 6.75 diameter. Gorgeous piece for anyone who love animals, bears and nature.

I have for sale a vintage Marc Pierce Big Sky Carvers sculptural black bear and fish vase. The only thing I noticed to the vase is a small fleck to the cubs one ear.
