They are made to look like carved wood and are handcrafted heavy resin. Each bear is approximately 4½” high and 2″ wide. Are carved into the backsides. Each bear holds a tree slice “wooden” plaque with the letter spelling out the word N-O-E-L. The plaque hangs from their neck by a green Christmas garland. They have warm brown eyes and super friendly faces. These are just really adorable. Each has a particular pose and personality of their own. I cannot find any chips, cracks or loss of color. BIG SKY CARVERS Montana wood carved’ PEEKABOO HANGING RACCOON’ 24 long. Excellent condition and clean. Hang from rail, bed post, mailbox post, fireplace mantel end or whatever ledge fits with long screws (included). WHITE SPOTS AND STREAKS ARE REFLECTIONS AND GLARE FROM THE LIGHTING. Measures 24 inches long by 6 1/2 inches wide and 7 inches deep. Weighs 6 pounds 9 ounces. Screws are 2 1/4 inches apart (flat area under paws is 8 1/4 inches high by up to 5 7/8ths inches wide). No cracks, chips, gouges or stains. IF YOU DISPLAY OUTDOORS; I USE UV BLOCKING URETHANE SPRAYS IN MULTIPLE COATS ON ANY WOOD OR CEMENT STATUES I LEAVE OUTSIDE IN RAINY CLIMATES. I DO NOT RECOMMEND LEAVING OUTSIDE IN FREEZING TEMPS. This lovely and well-made carved raccoon is clean, bright and ready for display.
