On his right outside arm you can see it has a couple wood slivers showing but nothing that can’t be touched up as shown in the last picture. Measures 21″ Tall – 12 1/2″ Long at Base – 7 Wide at Base. It has been Discontinued. The Bears name is Brawnie. This Big Sky Carvers Bear is one of the first original bears that they made. The first ones were hand carved and made of solid wood as this one is. Then they started making the bears out of resin. Has the original brass metal plate attached on info. “John Bear” stands at 32 1/2″ tall, 7 3/8″ at the widest, and 5 1/2 deep to the tip of John’s nose. “John Bear” is meant to stand up against a wall, with an offset notched out on the back up 3 7/8. It is notched to fit over originally 1 x 4 baseboard. If you did not have the 1 x baseboard in your home, there was a hole that was drilled up from the bottom at 21 5/8to put a nail or screw threw to hold up against the wall. “John Bear” is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! There are no cracks, stains, etc. The coloring is superb! The glass eyes are brilliant!
