It has been Discontinued. The Bears name is Brawnie. This Big Sky Carvers Bear is one of the first original bears that they made. The first ones were hand carved and made of solid wood as this one is. Then they started making the bears out of resin. John Bear is meant to stand up against wall with offset notched out on the back. It is notched to fit a 1×4 baseboard. Mine is 1×3 and worked fine.
