Downsizing my Bearfoots collection from my cabin home. In the coming weeks/months, check out my auctions for more solid wood Jeff Fleming carved bears as well as some older figurine pieces. Listing some of my last wood bears this week… Only three more to go after these six… Although not sure I will be parting with the last three. I will be listing approximately 40 to 50 Bearfoots figurines and some Phyliss Driscol moose figurines also from Big Sky Carvers. As you can see from the pics, there is the metal “mini plaque” indicating it is the genuine article. This guy is adorable and is in good, displayed indoors condition, but it is not brand new therefore has signs of age/imperfections… Tried to capture enough close ups to show any “issues”. Vintage 1996 Big Sky Carvers solid pine wood carved brown “Melvin” moose statue. It will thus be sent in a considerably larger box to accommodate its tall size and for it to arrive safely. There are some scuffs and at the front of the feet there is a line. It does not appear to be a crack, just part of the wood. At the back of the feet and between the legs and tail are two splits. It has been this way for years since I got it though. With the antlers it measures 22.25″ tall and 8.5″ wide. Vintage retired Big Sky Carvers Jeff Fleming Bearfoots solid wood pine carved “Cassidy” black bear in a log stump lamp (no shade or harp). There are some bits of white and black stuck to rougher spots of the wood. There are also some lines where the paint did not cover, one being by the side nose area, some at the neck, etc. I do not think they are cracks from damage but possibly features of the wood that aren’t covered, but please be aware that they are there. The lamp part is not the original which got damaged. It is a brand new one that was put in the old one’s place. It measures 18.75″ tall, 9″ wide and 8.5 deep.
